Holding Up The Light

Compassion. Courage. Creativity.

Casee Marie Clow spent nearly a decade housebound due to severe anxiety. When you grow up with anxiety like this, fears and worries can become your truth. From nervously biting her tongue as a young child, to being reprimanded in school for a panic attack that her teacher thought was just bad behavior, Casee spent her early years not even aware that she was struggling with something beyond normal shyness. By her early 20s, it was hard for Casee to leave her home, so strong were her fears about what could go wrong.

This week on The Brave Files, Heather talks to Casee about her journey from darkness into light. With the help of therapy and medication, Casee has found new truths about herself and is helping others conquer their own fears through her writing, and public speaking work. Tune in to hear what famous author helped give Casee the courage to seek help, and how Casee learned to show compassion for herself.
